Amr,
I noticed this said it was a cover. Is this in addition to the diagram you had demonstrated before? Will you be combining them in some manner?

Amr,

You have astrong graphic sense and are able to unlock varying identities within images. I want to ask you about your comments on Jaclyn's peice. You state Jaclyn should lose the apple. I would like to ask you about this image. Clearly a bitten apple is a powerful image which can harken back to creation myths. Was Steve Jobs aiming for an identification with origins? Was it a conveinent pair with apple macintosh? Moreover, the bite imples the presence of another. Who is the presentor and who the presentee? Who bit the apple? both of your maps to date imply conditions of US distribution. Can you unravel this further and consider Apple as a beginning, not at it's current end; a ubuiquitous trend setting agency?

Amr,

Packing will play a alrger role later in the semester. A shotgun blast of apple products is closer to a real commentary on their subject. Transformation of the bag was clever, but did it's history get lost? Is the power evident in this second image?

Amr,
Very good work! I really liked your first graphic: very simple yet great graphic design; its simple enough and “full” enough that can be an informational poster that the apple store can use it to represent the process of buying and any common people will understand it. It represents clearly the connection of place (with the map) and I will add suggest for me an implicit feeling of time (from Cali to the west coast!); the colors a very reminiscent of the origins of the company! Good stuff!
The second one is the one I am having problem understanding….not sure what is the intention of it and like Jaclyn am guessing you will fit it in the process at one point.
- are you suggesting Apple is putting America in their pockets?? =)
Some ideas that were born while “reading” your graphics: http://bac-gus-sidenotes.blogspot.com/2007/08/amr.html

Gus,

you said:
"" are you suggesting Apple is putting America in their pockets?? =)"""
why don't we say it the other way round,
"Americans are putting apples in their pockets =)"""
The recent poster is dynamic in a way that works with or/and the Gravity! in the y direction, followed by the speed of the purchaser move in the x direction!

Possiblities!! in many directions apply.

One could be: Power of the apple that is into the gravity or against it!

Thanks alot for your genuine comment and useful efforts in the side notes.

Jaclyn,

The combination between the two, the first mapping and the recent poster might be too much.
I'd rather simplicity.
After reading carefully
Prof, Galante's comments for all of us. I realized the fact that i should think out side the box, i put myself in!!!
and cook something that works better than what i did so far.

Amr,

I look forward to the new design. It wasn't clear to me the depiction of interaction from your poster but I liked the graphic and though maybe you would somehow filter the falling products to represent experience and ultimately end up with your product of individuality. I will check back again to see your progress in a day or so. Nice graphics!

I loved that photo in my Physics book. The black and white image of the apple and the bullet ripping through it. What interesting comments you have received. Great work.
